Big Bang

Big Bang
Starlight shines in his hair
Moonlight illuminates her eyes
Gravity tethers them together
In an uncertain dance of orbiting

The movements of the heavens are chaos above
Yet they sit, alone in what could be their own tiny universe
Another Big Bang would be put into motion
If only a single sentence is uttered

Under a heavy, radiant sky
Pulsing with celestial warmth
Two satellites by starry strings linked
Finally form a constellation

Night wraps around them intimately
As a whispered confession creates the ultimate connection
And at last,
It begins with a Bang
