Insomnia is black feathers
Arriving at night
Perching on my bedpost
And pecking at my spine
But when the dawn finally comes
And the darkness dies
It gleefully leaves me
Willingly takes flight
I take to slumber
Only when the sky becomes light
To dream fitfully of laughing birds
With dark, beady eyes
Hello, I apologize for not posting the past couple of days. I do have a new poem here. I would like to submit it to the literary magazine at my school, but there is one little problem. I hope that you can help me. As you can tell, it doesn’t have a title. Normally, I can come up with titles rather easily, but this time for some reason, I cannot. I am completely stumped. I need your help! Please leave title suggestions in the comments! I will be very, very grateful. Thank you so much!
